San Benave Concert Series
Live Music in League City, Texas
About us
We love live music.

And we love a good story.

So when we found listening rooms like The Bugle Boy in La Grange, Texas and small venue music joints like The Mucky Duck and Anderson Fair in Houston, it made us wish that there were places like that in our little neck of the woods.

And the more we talked about it, the more we found that most of our friends and neighbors felt the same way.  Whether they were from Pearland, Friendswood, Clear Lake or League City, they just longed for a quiet place to sit and sip and listen.

After a little research, it turns out that there are a fair number of amazingly talented artists out there that love to take a couple months every so often and travel around the country playing for folks just like us.

From California to the Carolinas.  From Nashville to Austin.

They'll play big venues and small venues.  They'll play auditoriums and living rooms.

They just love to play.  Most are independent.  Some have new material to share.  But they all have a love for live performance.

Particularly for folks that want to listen

Really listen.

So there you have it...San Benave Concert Series.  Our own listening room right here in our own neighborhood.

We've partnered with the Vencil family and the good people at the TAD AKERS Event Facility to give the Bay Area something that we haven't had since the Jalapeno Tree went away.

Final note:

This isn't a businessWe aren't concert producers or music promoters.  We always sell tickets, but occasionally there is an opportunity just to RSVP.

We never make any money from this.  Ever.

But there is a cost.  We ask you for a donation either when you buy a seat online or when you come in the door - usually $20 - and this all goes to the artist.  Please understand that everyone is expected to provide a donation.  Some of these artists request a guarantee, and therefore there is a "minimum" that we have to establish.  Money from the cash bar goes to cover the cost of the venue and we cover the rest.

Come out and support these artists.  Bring your friends, neighbors and co-workers.  Share the gift of music.

Blessings,

Dave and Carla
